OBJECTIVE

For the glory of the Reich, you and other members of the Hitler Youth have been ordered to assassinate the mayor of the German town of Aachen. Proceed carefully, as the town has likely been fortified by enemy troops. Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Fuhrer!

HISTORICAL CONTEXT

On March 24, 1945, Hitler Youth "Werewolf" bands, armed with explosives and other weapons, successfully assassinated the Lord Mayor of Aachen. The mayor, recently installed by US forces, was the only US appointed official killed by the "Werewolves" during the war. (Source)

Aachen also has significance in that it was one of the first areas of the Rhineland occupied by German military forces in 1936.
